Mediation

What is mediation?

Mediation is a form of dispute resolution which allow people in dispute to privately talk about their legal issues with an impartial person called a Mediator. Mediation gives people an opportunity to see if their legal dispute can be resolved without the need to go to court. Mediation is less formal than court and can be a quick and cost effective way to resolve some legal matters. Mediation is voluntary and agreements can only be reached if both people agree.
